Expressing oneself at any age is difficult, especially for young women and most definitely at this juncture in history. This poetry and visual art experience is a pop up version of the first Apple Book “Finding the Funny in those Lost Places” created with our generation of digital ladies in mind. Using the multi-touch platform, this short utilizes the language of purpose and the format of visuals to commit to the knowledge that our world is a better place with these intuitive beings fully present and advocating on society’s behalf.

From the introduction,

“About this Experience:
These poems and visuals are musings created for generations of young women who have come forth in the age of information. My intent and honest hope is to communicate, with the tools I have: language, colour and art; the great eternal value they add to this existence, on this plane, planet Earth. Within this visual experience, all content has been part of other past or current projects of mine, but I felt the need to create a special edited pop-up version for the ladies of 11 to seventeen. The power of genuine curiosity and thoughtfulness of their brilliant, intuitive minds deserves a pause of breadth.
No matter your age, gender or social status your voice is important and your creativity is a gift to us, we the collective we.
May you find times of mindfulness on your device, whether you are on the move or in a place of stillness. Best of luck on your journey of spirit; may your own voice and capability never cease!
