Is the federal government destroying the American dream?

Discouraged by dysfunctional government and blatant disregard of ethics among some politicians, Young Americans distrust the federal government. Gridlock in Washington over everything diminishes our hope of achieving the American dream.

Are we rapidly becoming a generation of cynics who no longer believe in the American dream, or have we awakened to realize the state of the nation has become a nightmare?

We, the next generation of Americans, hope for:
- Freedom from expansive government control as guaranteed by the Constitution.
- Aspirations of attainable education and career goals provided by a strong economy filled with opportunities for advancement.
- Responsibilities of government versus responsibilities of citizens to be made clear.
- Courage to overcome constraints on liberty.
- Empowerment of the people to change the way Washington, D.C. conducts business in order to save the American dream.
