Comments by the Author:

This magical adventure mirrors the story of my own childhood journey through life. I had intended to write only one children’s book — Secret of the Peaceful Warrior — but one morning, Quest appeared in a flash, and the story unfolded before my eyes. I wrote it in two hours then worked for many days to polish and refine it. And I read early drafts of the book to my (then-young) daughters’ classes for their impressions before completing the final draft.
Over the years, I’ve received letters from parents telling me how youngsters want to hear it again and again. Now I enjoy reading Quest for the Crystal Castle to my own grandchildren
