Clemmons NC In All Its Autumn Ambiance

A couple of years back, my wife and  I went to visit  Biltmore Estate and while there, we decided to tale a leisurely drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway. What better background music to overwrite the roar of our engine with than our old friends, Lester and Earl performing their own Foggy Mountain Breakdown to immaculate perfection?

Regarding the resulting video, the aerial footage was actually filmed from a hang-glider and supplied by an anonymous associate.

And back in the Autumn of 2015, we were up in Maine and Vermont, in desperate search of outstanding fall foliage and believe you me, there was plenty to be enjoyed,

We had later gone "ooh" and "aah" over the the colors of the Blue Ridge  in that Autumn of 2019. They were simply without parallel until this Fall of 2021 in our own hometown of Clemmons.

As for myself, I was born and raised on our family's Bright-Leaf Tobacco farm in Caswell County and after my retirement, my wife, my two children and I moved here to this small village where she was born and raised.

To my sheer delight, I never met a more courteous and friendlier community of people in my entire life. We each know one another by our faces, if not our names, and we always go out of our way to greet one another when meeting in old familiar places.

As for the colors this year, they have proven simply the most stunning that anyone might have possibly imagined. Just judge for yourself in the magnificent pages that follow.
