The Greeks and the Romans were not only the people who enjoyed a widely famous set of myths. Their neighboring countries have also developed their own local versions of heroic epic, sagas, and tales. Much of that period in history may have been lost due to religious cleansing, but few sources survived. With them, the world has now known the rich and colorful tales of Celtic mythology.
