Umberto Brunelleschi (1879-1949) was born in Italy, but in 1900 he moved to France, where he became a publisher, book illustrator and author of theater sets and costumes. The artist drew illustrations for several large fashion magazines published in France.

Between the two world wars he worked on the design of sets and costumes for several theaters, including the famous Folies-Bergeres in Paris, the Roxy Theater in New York and La Scala in Milan. Among the books he illustrated, "Candide" Voltaire, a collection of tales of Charles Perrault and "Masks and characters of the Italian comedy."

Toward the end of his life, he made a number of erotic illustrations. Judging by them, Brunelleschi clearly understood the erotic. This eBook contains more than 70 illustration and also short artist’s biography.
