Winning Bridge Tips provides secrets and tips from a Life Master, tips that you would rarely find in any other single book.  This book is for new players, beginners, and intermediate bridge players.  Experts can even learn a thing or two.

From as early as 1970 up to the present, all of my partners and opponents have generally regarded me as an excellent card player. Hence, this is why I believe that chapter by Play of the Hand (Declarer Play) is worth the price of this book. Additionally, you will find the chapter on Defense very valuable. Please note that I have based much of my research for this book on Eddie Kantar's books and on Dorothy Truscott's books. NOTE: I have been using one software program or the other since 1990 to bid and play bridge against the computer. I have been doing this exercise for at least one hour per day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the week. I never miss a day.

After reading the chapters on declarer play and defense, your game should improve considerably, provided you can convince your partners to read the same chapters.  If there is nothing else you get from this book, the tips and secrets on declarer play and defense are well worth the price of this unique book.

ABOUT ME: While I began bridge in 1970, I also stopped playing bridge in 1974 to get married and to raise a family. I restarted my bridge journey in late 2013. I achieved my Life Master credential in 2018. I have read more than 50 books on bridge and I have reread 3 or more of Eddie Kantar's books at least twice. My favorite Eddie Kantar book is "Take Your Chances"; this book gives you 100 problems and 100 solutions. Eddie Kantar is an excellent writer. Just read the first 10 problems before playing any game and watch the tricks add up. Feel free to email anytime at [email protected]. Don't forget to read my book to get the basics of bidding, declarer play, defense, ethics, laws, and bridge tells.
